For the work in this exhibition, I’ve turned to three sources that have proven deep wells of inspiration: ancient Greek mythology, especially as retold by the D’Aulaires’ illustrated edition that I read as a child; various translations of the Anglo-Saxon heroic poem Beowulf; and (my) Wolverine of Marvel comics. 

Almost all of my work of the last decade has started (or ended) with a bibliography. I love to read, and I have also learned that I love to make lists. I’m excited to share that my exhibition at Forbes will be accompanied by a display of books and media (that you can borrow!).
